Paid Clinical Trials in Kansas

One thing many in Kansas don’t realize is that, if they’re willing to do a little research online, there are paid clinical trials for healthy volunteers nearby. A paid clinical trial might involve taking some medicine for a time, doing some exercises, or other things; each study is different.

What they tend to have in common is that they’re orchestrated by CROs. A CRO is a Clinical Research Organization. Basically, they’ll conduct studies with “research” and “control” groups, and eventually, they need people for human trials. In Kansas, there are approximately 121 CROs. The majority of paid clinical research opportunities will be through them, though there may be others.

The question becomes: how do you determine what the opportunities will be like for local Kansas residents through such CROs? Well, there are two additional data points you need to factor in. First, experts say 1 out of 200 people in the US must be continuously involved in medical science to significantly advance our understanding. Secondly, the population of Kansas is 2,954,832.
